Fire Department expecting new arrivals

The Baker City Fire Department will welcome a new full-time firefighter Sept. 9 and plans to hire more full- and part-time staff.

“We tested on Friday, so we have another full timer that passed the test and then we’ll probably offer him a job,” said Fire Chief Todd Jaynes.
